In Remembrance of Digo Delgado

We are writing to share the sad news that our beloved team member, Digo Delgado, passed away on August 2, 2024 at the age of 39, due to a sudden illness. Many of you knew him as a host of the Mystic Café and many other online courses and events.

Born in El Salvador in 1984, Digo came to the United States at a young age. He was a “digital nomad” who lived and worked in Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Panama, while keeping a home base near Washington, DC.

From 2014-24, Digo served as Senior Producer of online programs for Thomas Hübl. He was a kind, loving, and open-hearted man who brought joy and light to his family and friends. Thousands of students from around the world knew him as a warm and gentle host who put everyone at ease.

A GoFundMe has been established to help his parents with funeral expenses and other costs as they navigate this heartbreaking loss. If you feel moved, contributions of any amount are deeply appreciated.

This letter from Thomas was read at the memorial service for Digo:

Digo has been a core pillar of our team at Inner Science for the past ten years. Everyone loved working with Digo – he brought love, light, and joy to all of us, and with his booming laugh he never let things get too serious. Our larger community of students loved Digo’s presence and his gentle being. He had a very big fan club that knew him as the “voice” of the many courses he hosted so beautifully as our producer. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

Through the years, I have trusted his skills fully and I always knew that if Digo was there everything would work out and all of the technology would run smoothly. I remember especially that we did many hours of recording together with our team for Summits, which was very collaborative and joyful. We felt that we were on a meaningful mission together and everyone played their part well. Digo’s dedicated work over many years has helped to bring a new understanding of collective trauma into the world – which is now becoming more mainstream. This is a meaningful contribution to society and Digo played an important role in that.

Digo was always a traveler and a free spirit. I believe there really is no end to our soul’s journey, that we are all “walking forever” on our unfolding path, held by the Divine. May Digo’s soul be blessed as his journey continues. And may all of us who knew him carry a bit of his light and joy always in our hearts.
