Simon Courtney
Simon is a trauma-informed psychotherapist, coach, and group facilitator devoted to the deeper layers of human healing. My work is grounded in presence, relationship, and a reverence for the intelligence within what feels difficult. Since first meeting Thomas Hübl in 2017 at the start of the Pocket Project, I’ve been part of his community and deeply inspired by his approach to intergenerational and collective trauma. Healing, to me, is not about fixing but about meeting what has been unseen with care and curiosity. In this space, what once felt like pain or protection can reveal its deeper message – the strength that has carried you through. I accompany individuals and groups in reclaiming resilience, restoring connection, and awakening the vitality that arises through attuned, compassionate presence.
Amela Thrane is a transformational coach and trauma therapist based in Copenhagen, with nearly 20 years of experience in personal and collective healing. Her work is deeply shaped by years of collaboration with Thomas Hübl, including roles on his teams exploring trauma, meditation, and transparent communication. Blending somatic awareness, parts work, energy attunement, and meditative presence, Amela creates a space where what once protected can soften, and what is infused with life can stabilize. Her sessions are presence-led and clients often describe her as a clear, compassionate mirror – reflecting what is most alive and true, without force. She is 54 years old, a mother, grandmother, and wife – walking this path with grounded humanity and quiet devotion.
