Thomas Hübl is a featured speaker at The Presencing Institute’s Global Forum: Stepping into the Decade of Transformation. Otto Scharmer hosts this annual online conference as an opportunity to take a pause, gather our breath, and turn inwards – together.

Thomas will join Otto Scharmer, Melanie Goodchild and Angel Acosta to explore the question „What does it take to decolonize our societies, economies, and ourselves?“

One year ago, with countries successively locking down, we were called worldwide into a collective moment of sensemaking as the limits of our existing social infrastructure were nakedly exposed. It was only months before many of us took to the streets to protest what we saw.

This is the decade of transformation. We know our societies are in dire need of transformation and renewal, yet we lack the capacity to act collectively. Disruption presents us with the choice to freeze and look after ourselves, or to turn towards others and act from a place of compassion and grounded action confidence. Together, we know the skills and the tools to step into an age of local and global movement building.

One year into the Decade of Transformation, and one year into the pain of the global pandemic, the Global Forum offers us an opportunity to take a pause, gather our breath, and turn inwards – together.
